A mission organization or a local church?

We’ve intentionally tried to erase the line between the two. Effective short-term ministry needs to be wedded to a long-term ministry presence.  From the beginning, we have infused mission trip hosting into the life of our local church. We’d love to walk down the streets of New Orleans alongside of you and restore New Orleans together!

Here are a couple of key facts about our short-term missions ministry:

  • We host teams year-round. You decide when you want to come and how long you want to stay.
  • Generally, we only host one team at a time so that we can focus on providing a quality experience for you and your group.
  • We partner with other organizations and churches to provide affordable housing options for your group.

  • Mission needs in our city include restoring homes, partnering with public charter schools, reaching out to the homeless and other needs. We have built a strong network of relationships in the city that allow us to match specific needs with your group’s specific skills and passions.
  • At the beginning of the trip, we orient each team to our story and the story of the spiritual and physical restoration of New Orleans post-Katrina. This orientation usually includes a “levee-break” driving tour of the city.
